BuildSuite started in November 2022 because construction firms kept being sold generic ERP and then handed a year of customisation. We built the construction layer instead — and opened the source.
Vision & mission
Large contractors can afford enterprise systems and the consultants to bend them. Everyone else runs on spreadsheets and WhatsApp. That gap is the whole company.
Our journey
Started by Hemanth and Rugma to build construction software that site teams would actually open.
Deployed with contractors in Kerala and the Gulf. Workforce and payroll came first because the pain was measurable.
Project accounting, estimation, procurement and client reporting joined up into one system on Frappe v16.
Released under the MIT licence so firms can audit the payroll maths and keep running the software whatever happens to us.
